Mutual respect. Genuine curiosity. Authentic connection.
We believe meaningful change happens in the context of a real relationship.
We are not experts looking down from a mountaintop. We are human beings who have dedicated our lives to understanding growth, healing, relationships, and what it means to live more intentionally.
Like you, we are works in progress. Like you, we have faced challenges, loss, uncertainty, and change.
Our role is not to tell you who to be. Our role is to help you discover who you already are beneath the noise, expectations, and patterns that may no longer serve you.
We believe self-awareness and choice are everything.
Choice is more than making decisions. It is the capacity to pause, become aware of what is happening within and around you, and respond intentionally rather than react automatically.
Every time you challenge a “should,” question an old story, or become curious about a familiar pattern, you create space for new possibilities.
We know that what happened to you may not be your fault. We also believe that healing, growth, and change ultimately become your responsibility. While we cannot change the past, we can change how we relate to it.
The world has changed dramatically in recent years, and many people are carrying more stress, uncertainty, grief, and overwhelm than ever before. We live in a culture that rewards urgency, amplifies fear, and often mistakes constant stimulation for meaningful connection.
At the same time, we are witnessing a growing hunger for something deeper: authenticity, purpose, belonging, and genuine human connection
This is where the work begins.
Our mission is to help individuals and couples develop greater awareness, resilience, and flexibility in the face of life’s challenges. We help people understand themselves more fully, navigate relationships more effectively, and respond to change with greater confidence and intention.
When you feel truly heard, understood, and engaged in an authentic way, something shifts. New insights emerge. Old assumptions loosen their grip. Possibilities that once seemed hidden begin to come into view.
Together, we will explore how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. We will examine the stories, beliefs, habits, and expectations that shape your experience while creating space for new perspectives to emerge.
Our hope is that you leave therapy with greater clarity, deeper self-awareness, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of agency in your life.
Not because we gave you the answers. Because you discovered them for yourself.

Pain and purpose often come from the same place.
My work is shaped by nearly 25 years of professional experience, half a century of lived experience, and a lifelong fascination with self-discovery, healing, relationships, transformation, and divinity.
As a Certified Gestalt Couples Counselor and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, I am particularly drawn to helping people understand the relationship patterns that shape their lives and how their environment continues to shape those interactions. Whether working with highly capable women, “nice guys,” or couples, I help clients recognize the adaptations that once protected them but now create disconnection, resentment, or conflict, so they can build relationships rooted in honesty, authenticity, and mutual respect.
I am often described as lovingly confrontational and direct, with enough humor and wit to help the medicine go down smoothly. I believe growth requires honesty, and I am not afraid to ask difficult questions or gently challenge the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. At the same time, clients often describe me as warm, grounded, approachable, and deeply accepting—someone who can hold both truth and compassion in the same conversation.

Authenticity begins where performance ends.
I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest—with themselves and with others.
My approach is relational, open-minded, and nonjudgmental. While therapy is a unique relationship, I believe it works best when two human beings meet authentically. I strive to create a space where you can explore your experiences openly, develop greater self-awareness, and discover new possibilities for growth.
Drawing from Gestalt therapy, DBT-informed skills, and nearly two decades of experience in the helping professions, I help clients understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck while developing practical tools for navigating life’s challenges more effectively. I am particularly passionate about helping people move beyond people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, self-doubt, and the pressure to hold everything together on their own.
Clients often describe me as patient, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Having done my own work around “nice guy” patterns, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to find your voice, set boundaries, and show up more authentically in relationships. I trust in your capacity for growth and change. Together, we’ll work to increase awareness, strengthen choice, and help you become more fully yourself.
Seeing the world is important to us.
Our relationship has its roots in adventure. Over the years, we have taken every opportunity to be on the road.
Through our ups and downs, travel and music have always been the tie that binds us.
Work-life balance is something we seek as much as we preach.
Letting both drive and downtime have their place, we strive to walk the talk.
Outside of work…
We have two fur babies, Lodi and Fiki. They are sisters we rescued as puppies over a decade ago. They generally sleep during our sessions, but you may occasionally see them wander in or out of the frame.
They will also register their offense vocally at the garbage truck, the mail delivery, and the new neighbor dogs that seem to anger up their blood.
The cutest thing you may hear is Fiki snoring. It’s a hard life… lol.
